By Maisie Bovingdon For Mailonline.A student has hit out at online retailer PrettyLittleThing PLT over its sizing when she discovered the dress she'd ordered didn't even fit over one leg.But she was not impressed to find out the mini dress did not fit her correctly, as she struggled to pull the garment over her leg.

Julia managed to get the dress up as far as her thigh on just one of her legs.In one image Julia held the dress in front of her body to show how tiny it was.

A separate upload saw her attempt to slip into the dress, but struggled to pull it up to her waist and slip in a second leg.Julia bought the dress in a size eight but was shocked to find it was the same size as one of her legs, and would not stretch over her body like it does on the model right.

The PLT website states the model wears a dress size six, yet Julia's size eight dress did not look anything like it did on the person modelling the strappy dress.A third image showed the dress in all its glory fitting the model perfectly on the website.

She tweeted: The Black Ruched Dress is a mini dress, that features spaghetti straps, ruched detail in the middle of the back, front and sides of the garment.PLT has warned the mini dress, with the drawstring feature to ruch the garment in the centre, may see the black mesh overlay bleed into the white fabric underneath when washed.

The product description on the site states the strappy item is made up of Polyester and Elastane.The online retailer warn against the colour running, but nothing about the sizing.Other customers are dissatisfied with their PLT purchases, with a separate shopper claiming they had the exact same issue with the brand's dresses.

A separate buyer believes PrettyLittleThing 'lie' about the size of their garments after making a number of purchases only to find they do not fit her.A separate social media user and PLT shopper has found fault in the label's bodysuits, and claims the all in ones are made to fit young children because they are so small.

Julia is not the first person who has vented their dissatisfaction about PLT garments on social media.A separate customer tweeted: Another added: Size 8 bodysuit looks like it would only just fit an eight-year-old.
